Hawaii native Bruno Mars is like a modern day Michael Jackson but in my opinion…better.
Bruno’s range is a lot broader than Michael’s was in his later days as Michael lost a lot of his strength through the years. But Bruno has been able to maintain his voice and has a much bigger sound.
Bruno came from a musical family and got his start VERY young. At age 4, Bruno joined his family’s band “The Love Notes” and performed with them 5 days a week.
After graduating high school, Mars moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. He eventually signed on with Atlantic Records and created a production team called The Smeezingtions which has gone on to produce a string of hits for other artists as well as himself.
Not only is Bruno a hugely talented singer and songwriter but he is also a multi-instrumentalist. He and Adele are the only artists to ever have a number-one song that only featured piano and vocals.
He has gone on to sell over 200 million singles and 26 million albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. He’s also been nominated for 14 Grammy’s.
