According to Paul Stanley, the recorded version of “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” may not have been very popular with KISS fans. In todays’ performance of the tune however, he assures the audience that the live version is the way it was meant to sound.

Originally released in 1979 off their album Dynasty, the tune was one of the few singles by the band to chart in the UK in the 70s.

The song was written in more of a disco style and was the first one that was written in collaboration with Desmond Child who went on to help write many of the band’s later songs.

The tune went on to become KISS’ second single to reach Gold and sold over 1 million copies, also reaching number 11 on the US Billboard’s singles chart.

The song also is oddly familiar to another song I’ll mention in the video and you guys can judge for yourself if you see any similarities.

I hope you all enjoy the performance and be sure to share what you thought!
