    • 30 years after its original release, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” continues to be revisited and today Tori will be taking on the tune with a little help from yours truly.

    Stevie Wonder was 20 years old when he sang and co-wrote the song and it was also the first single he produced entirely on his own.

    The song’s title and matching chorus were apparently inspired by Wonder’s mother Lula, who expressed the phrase after hearing Stevie play the melody.

    The tune was also the first to feature his female backup singing group which included Lynda Tucker Laurence who went on to become a member of The Supremes.

    It went on to spend 6 weeks at number one on the US R&B chart and reached number 3 on the US Pop Chart.
