    • Black Sabbath had a lot of fantastic lead vocalists but for this Who Did It Better I want to focus specifically on the singers that stuck around for a while and really made an impact.

    I’ll be comparing Ozzy, Ronnie James Dio, Ray Gillen and Tony Martin and I want to hear from you. Who do you think did it better and why? Share with me in the comments!

    We’ll start off by looking at Ozzy’s approach to singing and how it really fit Black Sabbath early on and I’ll compare Dio alongside him so we can see what they did differently.

    I’ll also look at live performances of Ray Gillen and Tony Martin and we’ll look at how they fared at stepping in to fill such a difficult role.
