    • As pioneers in the progressive metal scene, Queensryche’s unique sound was defined by Geoff Tate’s innovative vocals and when Todd La Torre took his place, he brought a very different energy.

    As we do a comparison of these two incredible singers I want to hear who you thought did it better and why! Please share with me in the comments!

    Looking at live performances from Geoff we’ll notice how he tended to pace himself more and how pristine he was with his vowel placement and tone.

    We’ll then compare Todd alongside him and see how he varied with a more diverse, aggressive approach that added more distortion to his sound.
