I cannot tell you how many times people have asked me what the difference is for someone that is going to take vocal lessons or get singing training from Berklee compared to Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy.

Since I have never been to Berklee, I am not qualified to differentiate between Berklee and Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy. However I have been to other colleges of a similar ilk and can tell you that most colleges don’t necessarily specialize in the highest levels of training (particularly in voice). This isn’t to say that there aren’t schools that do this. For example when I went to G.I.T. (the Guitar Institute Of Technology Los Angeles), it absolutely was the crème de la crème of focusing on extraordinary guitar playing. But colleges that are multifaceted serving many different genres generally aren’t.

So instead of passing judgment on Berklee, I thought it would only be fair to allow people that have gone to Berklee to weigh in on this and make their comments of their experience at Berklee personally. And it would also be great if anyone can point out anyone that has graduated from Berklee that is extraordinary. Because in the end the only thing that really matters is… Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy – Where The PROOF Is In The Singing!
