@TariQmorningstar This is presicley why I started Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy. Very few people have “studied” what it takes to obtain and maintain good vocal health. I have spent about a half a million dollars (yes you heard that right) on my voice and have studied under some of the greatest vocal coaches this world has to offer and have developed a technique that not only preserves the voice but it actually gets better with age (like working out correctly). and yes I am 46

also is there a school of thought as to why bon jovi cant sing what he use to be able to sing (i use bon jovi as an example, there are others such as axl rose) but here you are into your 40s and singing right off the bat as if we were hearing a recording. Did you do any kind of warm up before you started this video?

this is it.. exactly what we were talking about.. that relentless belting.. if i get stage 3 does it explain it all for my ability level or is it like building blocks having to start at the beginning?

@chaoden No, I am belting in the upper mid section of the voice. In this song I use no head chest mix.

Mr.Taplan, or may I say Ken? I watched every video youtube has to offer on you and I am completely Floored. Your voice sends a very clear definition to where I want to be. Inspirational….and I was at the Shout show at the Marquee in London. in the late 80’s..sneaked in as a 14 year old..and it made me want to sing…thanks.

Were you born a natural or did you work at it over time? I know a girl who never took any vocal instruction and she sounds like Cher to the T, is there a natural requirement or can most anyone learn to sing well?

Awesome voice man. I REALLY WANNA LEARN how to sing and it seems very hard to do, of course its a rocky road, but im willing to go through that. life’s a climb but the view’s great. i wanna learn how to sing like the jonas brothers, david archuleta and other singers. and i know you say we all have our own unique voice. and i wanna learn how to use it.
