Don’t you either have a good singing voice or not!? Why practice?

Can you really get better with lessons/practice? my parents say you either have it or you don’t. but i really wish i did have a nice singing voice… i already play 3 instruments but when i cover a song, i don’t sing the words.

You most definitely can improve with practice no matter what anybody says. Yes some people are more gifted than others, but often those people lose their voice because they don’t take care of it.
