Released 5 months after Bon Scott died, “Back in Black” was written as a tribute to Scott and new lead singer Brian Johnson was given the responsibility of creating the lyrics.
Johnson has said he ended up writing “whatever came into my head” and his bandmates loved the end result which also quickly endeared him to AC/DC fans.
