“Something To Talk About” went on to be Bonnie Raitt’s most successful hit to date but prior to her version of the song, Anne Murray had tried to record it in 1986. It never happened however because Murray’s producers didn’t think it would be a hit.

The song went on to become an international success and won Raitt a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1992.
