How To Sing Like David Coverdale

Many of you know that David Coverdale is one of my greatest musical influences and today I’m going to show you how you can sing like him.

David brings that giant, roaring lion sound to his singing, and I like to compare his vocals to an old American car with a hemi engine with that raw power that he uses.

He loves to sing in his upper register and use that belted out falsetto allowing him to really throw down.

I’ll be going over his tone, phrasing, and distortion and how we can get to those same places without having to struggle and choke off the sound.

David and I share that high baritone vocal fach and I’ll be demonstrating how I’m able to replicate his sound as I take on some Deep Purple and Whitesnake tunes.
