I’ve got the isolated vocal track of Robert Plant singing “Ramble On” which gives us a glimpse of how he took on this legendary tune.

The band recorded the song in New York when they were on their second world tour and apparently they never performed the tune in its entirety live until back in 2007.

I’m gonna break the performance down line by line and share my insights on how it was recorded.
