Originally written for the soundtrack of a movie called A Night In Heaven, Bryan Adams’ classic “Heaven” became a huge success even though the movie itself flopped.

Adam’s writing partner Jim Vallance has called the film “dreadful” and the song was released again the following year off of Bryan’s album Reckless.
The tune was heavily influenced by Journey’s “Faithfully” after Bryan toured with the band as their opening act.
