Led Zeppelin – Rock And Roll – Robert Plant – ft Sara Loera

Robert Plant apparently wrote “Rock And Roll” as a response to critics who said their previous album Led Zeppelin III which was more of an acoustic folk sound, wasn’t really rock and roll.

The band was in the process of writing another song “Four Sticks” when their attention shifted to a different drum riff John Bonham was playing which caused them to switch gears.

Jimmy Page blasted out a guitar part, and the bones of the song were completed in about 30 minutes and an hour later it was recorded.
