How To Find A Vocal Coach
You really want to start taking singing lessons but you don’t know how to find a good vocal coach? Let us help you!
Finding a good vocal coach can be tough, especially when you’re starting out singing because you don’t know what to look for and what questions to ask.
The two most important questions to ask a potential vocal coach are:
“Can you sing well, yourself?”
And,
“Can you physically demonstrate it?”
You see, singing is AN EXPERIENCE that happens from within you – if a vocal coach can’t sing, that means they haven’t had the experience. A vocal coach who can really sing will be able to SHOW YOU how to sing, not just tell you.
If you ask a potential vocal coach if they can sing and the answer is “No,” then you should move on and find one that can.
The second most important question is, “Can you show me your students who can sing?”
If the potential vocal coach has real students who can really sing, that’s a good testimonial – if he or she does not have any students they can point to, then that should be a red flag also.
Here at Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy we can answer “YES!” to both of those important questions. Ken Tamplin is an award winning singer himself with many albums and credits under his belt, AND we have tons and tons of students who are singing like crazy and taking the world by storm!
