Good Days and Bad Days of Singing? Singing Advice
I have heard a vocal coach recently say:
“Even the greatest singers have good days and bad days. the idea is to have more good days than bad days. Here at our studio we will help you have more good days than bad days. And even Pavarotti has cracked before. No one is perfect”
Well friends let me say this. That is the “level” of their teaching. Try telling that to Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan or Lionel Messi or any other great athlete. Because singing is very much like a sport. And no one is perfect.
But to have a 50/50 chance of having good and bad day of singing is complete nonsense. RUN from that kind of thinking.
In fact, get so good at what you do, that even your bad days are better than 90% of other people’s good days!
Build a consistency in your voice so that you rock 95% of the time.
And the other 5% you miss is still 90% of your maximum performance.
