AC/DC – Bon Scott – Brian Johnson – Axl Rose – Replacement Singers – Who Did It Better?

When comparing Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, many people view their voice as the same due to their many similarities but there was also a lot that was different between the two AC/DC frontmen.

I’m going to break down the differences between the two legendary singers but I want to hear from you. Who do you think did it better? Share with me in the comments!

As we look at Bon Scott we’ll notice the difference in range and how he used more of a blues, bar singer approach to his sound.

I’ll then look at Brian Johnson’s technique and we’ll explore how he used a lot of head voice so he wasn’t always pulling chest up into his sound.
