Pat Benatar is a little powerhouse with a giant voice and her name is definitely at the top of the list when mentioning the greatest female rock vocalists of all time.
Having started her career singing in clubs, Pat’s operatic training and background have allowed her to maintain her voice through the years.
Her ability to bring grit into her sound was unique among female singers at that time and helped to distinguish her music from the rest of the pack.
Pat’s career took off in two waves and she has gone on to produce five platinum albums, three gold albums, and 15 Billboard Top 40 singles in addition to her four Grammys.
In addition to her singing, she is a talented songwriter and actress and is due to be nominated in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
