Back in the 80’s (in this case 1985/1986), melodic rock dominated many of the US charts.
Not the least of which was The Outfield with their album “Play Deep.”
The song “Your Love” reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #7 on the Mainstream Rock chart in 1986.
While (to be candid) I’m not a fan of the lyrics of this song, I am a fan of the melodic value, it’s “staying power” and setting the bar high for high range singing.
Katie and I decided to take on very diverse styles to showcase her abilities.
With that in mind, Katie and I picked up the challenge to cover “Your Love.”
