Let’s face it. There is only one Aretha Franklin. And then there are us mere mortals. 🙂
One of the things I love about working with Tori, is her love and depth of different genres of music.
We don’t pretend in anyway to sound like Aretha. Tori sounds like Tori.
She has a very unique, velvety smooth, passionate, warm tone that is her signature.
Nonetheless, it’s awesome for a vocal coach like me to continue to have students in their mid to late teens, early to mid 20s and even 30s appreciating phenomenal talent and songs like Aretha.
For Tori this comes natural.
So we decided to do Natural Woman (of course 🙂
