Many years ago I was fortunate to have a small brush with the Monsters of Rock Festival throughout Europe.
On that bill were The Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Michael Schenker and a couple other artists.
It was fun getting to speak with and get up close and personal with these artists to see how they warmed up and to watch them perform at close range.
Not the least of which was Bon Jovi.
Jon was very warm and approachable.
Bon Jovi was a well-oiled machine with awesome lights, effects, sound and great stage presence.
I also realized that many of these Bon Jovi songs were very difficult to sing especially if you over sang the bottom and try to release and relax to go up top for the higher notes.
With that said I hope you enjoy my cover of “Livin’ On A Prayer” and keep in mind that I am a baritone singing way up into this registration. This is proof it can be done with the correct information and good old hard work.
