Country singer and songwriter Kane Brown first broke out into the music scene through social media.
He put out his first EP in 2015 and 3 years later he released his second full length album which went to number one on the Billboard 200. He is the first artist to have simultaneous number ones on all 5 Billboard country charts.
Marshmello whose real name is Christopher Comstock, is an electronic music producer and DJ. He gained international acclaim for his remixes for artists including DJ Zedd and Jack U.
He has 4 songs that have been certified multi-platinum and made the top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100. He was ranked by Forbes as the eighth highest paid DJ in the world in 2017.
After meeting Marshmello at the 2018 American Music Awards, Kane sent him the track for “One Thing Right”. It was Marshmello’s first collaboration with a country artist and the song brings together their vastly different styles.
For the catchy tune Marshmello moved away from his traditional EDM style and created a more guitar driven base that makes the song light and fun and easy to sing along to.
Today I’ll be reacting to their performance of the hit on The Ellen Show. The two make a pretty entertaining entrance which I enjoyed.
