You’ve got to check out this stripped down performance of AC/DC, with just the duo of Angus Young and Brian Johnson.

The two got together for a live performance on an episode on the Howard Stern Show as they took on their classic “You Shook Me All Night Long”.

The tune which was the first single released by the band after Brian Johnson took over as frontman, has become a staple for the band and in 1980 reached number 35 on the US Hot 100.

VH1 ranked the song number 10 on “The 100 Greatest Songs of the 80s” and critics have called it the band’s greatest “work of art”.

Brian’s style is to sing with a more pinched and squeezed throat which is what has helped give him his unique sound. We’ll take a look at how that impacts his singing both in this performance and over time.

I hope you all enjoy the video and find it helpful. Please let me know what you thought of it!
