Walk into any music store. There, beneath the sign that says “NO STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!”, you see the guitarists and bass players playing this riff…
This Deep Purple song is one of the first riffs everyone learns when they start out as a musician.

The song is a masterpiece, from a time when Deep Purple was rising up from the hordes of British Invasion bands.

Something was different about these guys. The edge… The mysteriousness… The ROCK.

I decided to throw my hat into the ring of all of the singers throughout the reign of rock who have put their mark on this song and given it their own signature.

I hope you like my version. It’s true to the original, with respect, and includes some of my own signature sound and fury.
