    • What do you get when you mix Haley Reinhart, Myles Kennedy and Slash in an acoustic performance? A pretty great collaboration and a unique interpretation of a frequently covered song.

    For today’s video Haley teams up with Myles and Slash for a live, televised birthday celebration for Muhammed Ali’s 70th birthday.

    The trio covers the Rolling Stones’ tune “Wild Horses” in one of the better renditions I’ve heard of the classic song.

    First released in 1971, the song made it to number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has gone on to be ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest songs of all time.

    In addition to Reinhart’s version, the song has been covered by numerous well known artists including Guns N Roses, Dave Matthews, The Black Crowes, Elvis Costello, Chris Cornell and many others.

    Myles and Haley do a great job of harmonizing together and Slash provides some great accompaniment of his own. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the video!
