Dimash definitely raises the bar for greatness and at 25 years old, he is just getting started!
Coming from a close-knit, musical family, Dimash started performing at the ripe age of 2. He learned to play the piano in addition to singing, and his parents and music teacher observed he had absolute pitch.
At 6 years old, he won a national piano contest and his background as an instrumentalist has clearly elevated his singing.
Dimash is known for mind-blowing range and has been classically trained in Bel canto. As I share what stands out to me about Dimash, I’ll also look at some of the dynamics of his training and what distinguishes it from a more contemporary approach.
We’ll be looking at a couple of his performances which really demonstrate the level of professionalism and command he has in his onstage presence.
