Robert Plant was able to bring such a unique sound to his singing while setting the bar so high for difficult, high range singing.
The charismatic frontman to Led Zeppelin helped create the “rock god” archetype with both his image and his powerful and wide vocal range.
I’m going to show you some of the different places that he got to when singing that might not be quite what you think they are, and I’ll show you how you can get to those places too.
We’ll explore examples of both his more acoustic/folk approach, as well as his hard rock singing as we look at some of the techniques he uses.
I’ll discuss how we can grow our chest, head and mixed voice to be able to match his tonal qualities, as I demonstrate it myself and then show how KTVA student Kati Cher does it.
I hope you all find the video to be helpful and informative and please be sure to share what you thought in the comments section!
