    When Lou Gramm had such an experience while recording “Waiting For A Girl Like You”, he was able to produce a take that was so powerful he was never able to duplicate it again.

    In his autobiography, Gramm references the encounter of a woman who appeared in the control room who he had never seen before and never saw again.

    It ended up being a pretty fitting inspiration for the tune which has become one of Foreigner’s most successful songs of all time.
