You know them. You see them all over the Internet. I’m sure you’ve been affected by them like I have.

But I think it’s interesting to explore the motivation behind a troll.

1) To humiliate or mock someone by cracking a mean joke at their expense.
2) To tear someone down because the troll thinks that it lifts them up and puts them in a better light.
3) To hurt others to make themselves feel better about their pathetic life because the troll does not have a life and so the only life they have is trying to hurt others.

There are other reasons but these are the main ones.

Once we understand this, it gives us ultimate power over a troll.
We realize that we are higher than them and important enough for the troll to try to bring us down to their level.

They are extremely jealous of what we have and wished that they had it, so they will stop at nothing to try to keep us from our goals.
Trolls, believe it or not, are actually an indicator of success!

Maybe one of the next videos I should do on this subject is “how to troll a troll” but then again, it may reinforce a couple old adages:

Never argue with a fool because they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

and

He that contests with a fool, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.

I hope you find this video helpful and informative 🙂
