    • I was surprised to receive so many requests to do an isolated vocal analysis of Roy Orbison.

    While I personally love Roy, I did not realize how much love there was out there for him.

    Roy has one of those incredibly unique voices that can mix in so many places it’s almost undetectable. There is only one other artist I feel shares a similar competency in the area of mix voice and that is Luther Vandross.

    In this video, we explore one of Roy Orbison’s most famous hits “Pretty Woman”. A song so well crafted, even Eddie Van Halen couldn’t help himself from doing a cover version of it!
