Next to Foreigner’s “I Want To Know What Love Is”, I believe that Journey’s “Faithfully” is one of the greatest rock ballads of all time.
It’s also one of the most difficult to sing.
Let me explain!
It’s one thing to have a lot of dynamic range for singing a song. It’s also quite another to evoke such incredible passion and emotion and to literally live the story while you are singing it.
Few people have the ability and capacity to pull this off.
For this reason, I thought it was important to showcase that we have combined technique with artistry, passion, and emotion.
I believe Kati did a phenomenal job in capturing the essence of Steve Perry and his original performance of “Faithfully.”
