Today Kati Cher is covering the next song in her series of Sia tunes.
Sia ended up releasing the song “Bird Set Free” on her seventh studio album but it was originally written for the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack, but they rejected it in favor of “Flashlight”.
She later pitched the song to Rihanna, who also rejected it and then to Adele, who initially recorded it but later decided to let Sia keep it.
The song has gone on to be an anthem for female empowerment and critics called it a “complex, battle-cry from a volatile soul”.
Kati will be performing the song with her own unique take on the tune.
