Crowded House – Don’t Dream It’s Over – Cover – Ken Tamplin and Luis Villegas 4K

One of the things I’ve always loved about this song is that it carries a timeless 70s vibe to it, much like something Lynyrd Skynyrd or Bob Seger would’ve done, or Kansas’ “Dust In The Wind”, or a number of great middle America rock bands from the 70s.

For fun, I have started a new series with an ole guitar buddy of mine, Luis Villegas.

And the series consists of taking songs that I love, that I feel are “Flamenco Friendly”, and putting a new fresh spin on them with a Flamenco twist.

My very first song out of the box is “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House.

I’m having a blast doing this and taking a small break from only teaching singing, and getting a chance to express myself musically and artistically, as I have done on some of my past records.
