One of the most esteemed rock/metal singers of all time is none other than Bruce Dickinson.

I have heard him interviewed in the past and he mentioned how Ronnie James Dio played a huge influence in his singing.

I can clearly hear that in his voice.

One of the other things that is quite notable is his dramatic approach to singing, and particularly with his vibrato, incredible energy and vocal range.

In this video, I showcase the mechanics of Bruce’s voice as I negotiate the bridge connection between chest and head and back, which is one of Bruce’s specialties.

I also enjoy teaching this technique to many of my students such as Gabriela Gunčíková, who has really excelled in this singing method.
