When I first asked Sara if she was willing to do this song, she told me “No way! I do not have the range and I do not want to blow my voice out trying to sing this high with this much power”.
I encouraged her and reaffirmed the fact that she did have this range and did have this power!
She had been working very hard on singing a lot of very difficult rock pieces and I thought this would take it to the next level.
And boy did she deliver!
I do remember one quote from her saying that she almost felt like she threw her back out because of how much strength she used in order to accommodate pulling chest up this high, rather than using full head voice like Brian Johnson.
