Journey – Steve Perry – Open Arms – Flamenco Cover – Ken Tamplin and Luis Villegas

I am continuing my series on taking some of my favorite classic rock songs and making them “Flamenco-friendly” 🙂

Next up to bat is Journey’s “Open Arms.”

It’s kind of interesting for me because I have to find songs that have minor key overtones in order to be able to accommodate and make it “Flamenco-friendly”.

Open Arms seemed to be a perfect fit for this and my buddy Luis Villegas agreed.

I’m not expecting to get 1 million views on these songs.

I’m doing this simply because I love it, and I love working with Luis as he is a fantastic guitar player and arranger.
