I have been doing a series on cover songs that I felt were “Flamenco-friendly.”

Many refer to the kinds of songs I’ve been doing as “Yacht Rock.”

I’ve been surprised at how well received they have been, as it puts a whole new coat of lipstick – facelift on “Oh no, not another cover song!”

I remember, as a hard-core rocker, that liking bands like the Bee Gees was really uncool. This was true for Disco as well, but secretly, I loved those bands, including all the R&B bands with singers like Chaka Khan in “Tell me something good” by Rufus.

So I decided to put my own spin on this with a Flamenco Flare!
