Join Now!Mixed Voice. What is it, and how do you access it? Will it help me with my singing?
Our singing voice has three main “registers” that are components of our overall vocal range. We have our speaking register, or “chest voice”, our higher register that is called “head voice” and there is an area between these two registers. It’s the legendary Mixed Voice register.
Getting our mixed voice built up to a point where it can be used in songs requires some practice, and our chest voice and head voice need to be built up as well, to support the weaker area between them.
In this video, I am giving you exercises to help you develop the Mixed Voice portion of your voice.
This video can be your start to building a robust voice, with a middle section that can provide more colors and textures to your voice and that you can continue to develop from this point forward.
So let’s get started with YOUR voice! Watch this video now, and do the exercises with me.
