One of the things about Aerosmith that is very challenging is the total range of any given song, especially around this era of Steven Tyler.

Another great classic that Kati and I got to work on is I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing from the feature film Armageddon.

Aerosmith/Steven Tyler were able to capture movie soundtrack songs that withstood the test of time and stayed with us for quite a while now, not the least of which is I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.

Not only that, but some of their soundtrack songs wound up on different soundtracks in addition to their original intended soundtrack.

Let’s take I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing, for example. As I mentioned, originally from the Armageddon soundtrack in 1998, it was also featured in the following films:
Blades of Glory 2007
Skins 2007
Sing 2 2021
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 2021

This is true for Sweet Emotion, Back In The Saddle, Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Dream On, Rag Doll, Angel’s Eyes, Janie’s Got A Gun, Crazy, Walk This Way, You Gotta Move, Love In An Elevator, Toys In The Attic, Come Together, Cryin’, Living On The Edge, and many more that have cross-pollinated across multiple soundtracks because of the quality and craftsmanship of these songs.

So with that said, we decided to take on I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.
