Man, the words in this song couldn’t ring more true for today than ever.

Here are a few lines in the song:

I remember when it was first introduced to this song by my student Kati Cher.

I always liked Alter Bridge, and obviously Myles Kennedy is a force to be reckoned with vocally, but I hadn’t realized how great of a guitar player he was until I saw some recent stuff of his and then went back to some old Alter Bridge stuff.

Gabriela came to me and said she’d like to do this song, but my problem has been getting tracks for these, so I wound up making all new tracks myself (and when you make tracks, you also realize the nuances and intricacies that go into certain recordings).

So Gabriela took on this prescient song with fire!
