I was almost afraid of doing this video because I have been blocked so many times by the publishing and record companies of the Eagles and particularly Don Henley.
But I also thought it would be criminal if I didn’t include Don in our singers Then And Now series.
Don had an extraordinary career as a vocalist/drummer for the band “The Eagles”, as well as his own individual success.
He also has an extremely unique voice that combines a very heavy “mixed” voice and sound that is quite hard to achieve without overusing air and drying out the vocal cords. That, combined with his singing range, is quite challenging for anyone trying to replicate his sound. 🙂
As we discover the different aspects of Don’s voice in his early years and then compare that throughout the years, we can learn a lot from this incredible artist.
