    • This is an interesting song for me, on many levels.

    In 1991, it just so happened that I was working with Gene Simmons from Kiss and Bob Ezrin for songs to be placed on two records – “Carnival Of Souls” and “Revenge” – at the time “God Gave Rock And Roll To You” was recorded for Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.

    Of course I know that this song was originally recorded by the band Argent, and this was a cover, but Bob Ezrin did an absolutely killer job on production!

    Sara Loera had suggested that we do this song, as she loved it, and I thought it would be a challenge.

    And indeed, it was a challenge! I challenge you to listen to the instrumental track that we created and notice all of the very intricate parts that go into it (kind of like its own version of Bohemian Rhapsody in some ways).

    Nonetheless, I think we pulled it off, and I hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed making it for you!
