T. Rex – Bang A Gong (Get It On) Marc Bolan – Cover

Bang A Gong was a song originally recorded by T. Rex and re-popularized by The Power Station, a super group formed with Robert Palmer, former Chic drummer Tony Thompson, and Duran Duran members John Taylor (bass) and Andy Taylor (guitar).

I chose The Power Station version because it had a little bit more power to it!

Nothing much really needs to be said about this other than the fact that it was surprisingly difficult to get a similar soul and feel out of this song as well as Robert Palmer delivered it when he covered the song.

It’s also fun exploring the lower tones of my voice rather than always melting in my high range.
