The American rock band Cheap Trick first entered the music scene in 1973.

They have experienced several resurgences of popularity during the course of their career. This may partially be due to the fact that the band has always toured consistently and have played over 5,000 shows.

All four band members came from distinct musical backgrounds and lead vocalist Robin Zander has attributed that to their distinct sound.

After making the live album Live at Budokan, their careers really took off.
In the U.S., the album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and became the group’s best selling album with over three million copies sold.

The band has gone on to sell over 20 million records and has produced more than 29 movie soundtracks.

I’ll be reacting to their single “I Want You to Want Me” which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
