I really admire the path John Mayer has carved out for himself and how he has developed his craft into something uniquely his own.
John’s performance for today’s reaction was in LA at the Nokia Theater just over 10 years ago and I’ll be reacting to his songs “Neon” and “Stop This Train”.
Mayer wrote the song “Neon” for his debut album Room For Squares which was his best selling album peaking at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 200 and earning him a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
“Stop This Train” was released off his third album Continuum which reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 5 million copies.
We’ll also discuss some of the issues John’s had with his voice and I’ll share some tips on what you singers can do to avoid damaging your voice.
